Supplement to the accessibility statement

The AccessGO accessibility plugin (www.accessgo.de) from the DGfB Deutsche Gesellschaft für Barrierefreiheit mbH is offered on our website.

This allows users to adapt our website to individual restrictions or preferences.

The settings can be accessed via the AccessGO symbol or alternatively via the key combination “ALT + 1”. All functions can also be controlled using the keyboard

This makes it possible to adjust the following aspects, among others

Font size
Contrast
Highlighting of links
Activation of a screen reader
Use of profiles to activate several settings at the same time.

How accessible is the offer?

The assessment is based on a self-assessment using the AccessGO accessibility tool.

Based on this review, the website is partially accessible with the aforementioned requirements.

In detail, the following points are not fully compliant with the accessibility regulations that apply to us:

Barrier: Input fields in the store have a contrast error.
Barrier: The filters on product lists are selectable via tabulator but not applicable.
Barrier: Product recommendations that are displayed via the “AddToCart” pop-up cannot be selected using the keyboard.
Barrier: Checkboxes can be focused via keyboard, but not confirmed.
Barrier: Videos may contain flickering colors and animations.
Barrier: If a product is added to the wish list, it is not possible to navigate to the wish list from the pop-up.
Barrier: Redundant neighbouring links with identical target
Barrier: Missing assignment of a label to a form field.
Barrier: Missing field grouping for a group of selection fields (checkboxes or radio buttons).
Barrier: Redundant title text for an element.
Barrier: Some form fields do not have a correctly assigned text label.
Barrier: On product detail pages, the layer for reminder mails cannot be focused via the keyboard.
Barrier: AccessGo is currently not supported in the checkout.
Barrier: When using AccessGo, it can happen that result suggestions in the search bar are hidden.
Barrier: When using AccessGo, it can happen that the undo function is not fully displayed when products are removed from the shopping basket.
Barrier: When using AccessGo, it can happen that the product layers are not fully displayed in the shopping basket under ‘We recommend’ because the spacing is too large.
Barrier: When using AccessGo, it can happen that the ‘Change article’ layer in the shopping basket cannot be used because the display is too large.
Barrier: When using AccessGo, some elements may not be legible because they are covered in black (e.g. when changing items in the shopping basket, customer account login).
Barrier: When using AccessGo, it can happen that the ‘Change article’ function in the shopping basket is not fully displayed because the line spacing is too large.

We are already working on removing these barriers.
